The Print Council Aotearoa New Zealand is an organization that was established over 20 years ago.

What initially attracted me to this somewhat obscure subject was the simplicity and beauty of the abstract forms. I had no idea the Celtic tribes at the time were mining and producing their own gold, let alone using it as a form of barter and exchange.

Torn paper, brown or coloured, collaged on the white. I squeeze paint on the paper, and smear it with my hand. I pick up a pencil. I knock on the door of Faery.

This collection of pieces aims to show the different parts of each of us, the potential that we all process but do not necessarily show to the world; instead we create a protective shell around us, building up many layers represented here by the paper mache.
