Thoughts & Feelings @ 2 am 30 September is an autobiographical textural diary that focuses on life in my early 20s and the many challenges and uncertainties I have had to overcome to stand where I am today. The exhibition will touch on themes of mental health, interpersonal relationships, bodily autonomy and inner dialogue. It will be a collection of textile-based work, using the garment as the canvas. I want to show that a garment can be more than an item worn on the body and push the commercial bounds of wearable art, to facilitate conversation and awareness.
