About
The Kimbolton Sculpture Festival organisers will once again have a number of sculptures on display at the PN Community Arts Trail.
Next year’s festival will be held on Saturday April 2nd 2022 and promises to be better than ever.
The last festival in March this year attracted over 100 sculpture entries from throughout New Zealand with the top prize going to Pam Corpe’s ‘The Oroua Bird’ (See photo) and with 30 pieces sold on the day there were many happy people going home with a prize possession.
More than 100 craft stalls enjoyed a successful day with most pledging to return next year.
Over 5,000 people enjoyed the hospitality of the local rural community in perfect weather with a full day of music, children’s interactive activities and family entertainment.
The organisers are hard at work preparing another program of activities and entertainment for the next festival.
The sculptors displaying sculptures at the Arts Trail are Greg Tuthill, Roger Thompson and Tony Waugh.
