Originally from the Kāpiti Coast, Sam is now based in the Rangitīkei. Sam’s art practice began in 2009, her work primarily focuses on stylised and imagined landscapes painted in oil, the work has evolved into a meditative process, an escape, and a deeper connection with the natural world.
